Tenders are invited for The Upcoming Licensing Round of Saudi Arabia - Bir UMQ. The Ministry is conducting a competitive licensing round for 5 exploration Sites. Prospective Bidders who wish to participate in future stages of the Licensing Round must complete this PQQ in order to be assessed as to their suitability. The PQQ is the first stage of the Licensing Round and is designed to assess bidders professional and technical qualifications and competence to become the Licensee. It requires Prospective Bidders to submit information about technical knowledge and experience, capability, capacity and organizational and financial standing to meet the requirements for the Project. A list of Qualified Bidders will be announced approximately fourteen (14) days after the PQQ Submission Deadline. The PQQ must be completed in Arabic or English and submitted: • Via email: to miningbidding@mim.gov.sa; and • In hard copy to: Attention of Musaed Al-Daoud, Deputy Minister of Mining Development, Mining Development Deputyship, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Second Floor, King Fahd Branch Rd, Al Mohammadiyyah, Riyadh 12363, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where a PQQ is completed in English, an executive summary only (satisfying the requirements of Part G) must be provided in the Arabic language. The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources wishes success to all Prospective Bidders submitting a PQQ. To Access Data Room In offering this virtual data room (Data Room), the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (Ministry) and Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) have made available a facility which allows viewers (Viewers) to access via the Internet certain information (Information) relevant to the proposed auction process for an exploration licence for the upcoming licensing round sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (the Sites). In consideration for accessing the Information, Viewers must agree to these terms and conditions in connection with their use of the Data Room. The Information, and access to the Data Room, does not constitute or form part of any offer for sale or subscription of or solicitation of any offer to buy, apply for or subscribe for any interest in the Site or in any other asset, nor shall it or any part of it form the basis of or be relied on in connection with any contract or commitment whatsoever.
