Rehabilitation of (2) major transformers of (154) MAPAIS in the second stage - B in the water production system in Jubail
The purpose of the competition: The water production system indicated is the system of desalinated water production in Jubail of the General Corporation of Saline Water Desalination Corporation is one of the largest desalination plants in the Middle East region, where the production capacity of the water exceeds 46,000 cubic meters/hour. It also reaches the production capacity of electricity at power stations. Integrated to more than 1,600 MB. This station is located on the eastern coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, about 18 km south of the city of Jubail. The area where the electrical transformers are located is one of the most important areas of the station and there are many electrical equipment that need maintenance in order to operate with the required efficiency. In the second stage, there are 5 electrical transformers to raise the voltage from 13.8 kV to 240 kV. Currently, it is planned to carry out rehabilitation work for 2 electrical transformers in the second stage B to maintain the efficiency of the transformer and to ensure the continuity of operation with high efficiency and reduce errors and reduce future breakdowns. The contractor's mission will be focused on rehabilitating and replacing electrical transformer oil in unit transformers No. 83 and 85.
